Meet Dr. Jae Seon Kim
 Dr. Jae Seon(Jason) Kim, a native of South Korea, has lived around different parts of the world including London, New Jersey, Georgia, and Mukilteo. He and his family settled down in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, where it always felt like home at heart.
Dr. Kim is a prosthodontist, a specialist that requires additional 3-4 years of advanced training after graduating from dental school. Dr. Kim received his prosthodontic training at the prestigious University of Washington, School of Dentistry. Being a prosthodontist makes Dr. Kim well-versed in performing simple restorative procedures, such as fillings, and single crowns, to the most complex oral rehabilitation cases, involving Dental Implants. Dr. Kim is especially passionate about doing esthetic/cosmetic smile makeovers that lasts a life time. Only 2% of dentists are Prosthodontists, and among prosthodontists, only 45% of them are board-certified. Dr. Kim is a Board-Certified Prosthodontist.– What is a Prosthodontist?
Dr. Kim is an enthusiastic educator for other dentists, and students. He was an assistant professor at Augusta University, Dental College of Georgia, educating dental students, residents from numerous specialties, and other general dentists. Currently, Dr. Kim is an affiliate assistant professor at University of Washington, School of Dentistry. Dr. Kim is a well-respected speaker, and lectures nationally and internationally.
Dr. Kim is a believer in lifelong learning. He spends hundreds of hours taking Continuing Education courses every year, participates in dental study clubs monthly, and reviews dental journals everyday. He believes that these efforts are essential in keeping up with the latest dental technology, and to innovate new techniques that can benefit patients. Dr. Kim also is a reviewer for the Journal of Prosthodontics.
Dr. Kim enjoys spending his spare time with his wife and two daughters. He is also an avid music listener, amateur guitar player, and a wannabe music writer.
