He was an assistant professor at Augusta University, Dental College of Georgia, educating dental students, residents from numerous specialties, and other general dentists. Currently, Dr. Kim is an affiliate assistant professor at University of Washington, School of Dentistry. Dr. Kim is a well-respected speaker, and lectures nationally and internationally.
Dr. Kim is a believer in lifelong learning. He spends hundreds of hours taking Continuing Education courses every year, participates in dental study clubs monthly, and reviews dental journals everyday. He believes that these efforts are essential in keeping up with the latest dental technology, and to innovate new techniques that can benefit patients. Dr. Kim also is a reviewer for the Journal of Prosthodontics.

Dr. Jae Seon(Jason) Kim, a native of South Korea, has lived around different parts of the world including London, New Jersey, Georgia, and Mukilteo. He and his family settled down in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, where it always felt like home.
Dr. Kim enjoys spending his spare time with his wife and two daughters. He also participates in Masters swimming competitions and hiking on the weekends.
